This training course will provide you with insights and knowledge that can help you to succeed in your job.
It starts with you. With the situation you are facing at work. What puzzles you about your employer. What makes you hesitate. Your everyday challenges.
We will help you to get a better understanding of the Danish work culture. Learn what is expected from you as a staff member in a corporate environment characterized by low hierarchy and high individual responsibility.
The course also offer insights on how digital tools are changing work procedures in both Denmark and China. Learn how this could affect your job performance.
Last, but not least, you will build a confidential network with other people working for Danish companies in China.

The training course offers you a stronger understanding of being a team member in a Danish professional context. This is essential for delivering results together with your colleagues inside and outside China. In particular at a time where physical interaction with your colleagues is curbed by travel restrictions.

Peter Bøgh Hansen

Peter is in charge of Chinese political affairs at DI, Denmark’s main business association with 18,000+ member companies. He also heads Sense China, DI’s business unit for innovation and tech development. Peter moved to China in 1997, and he was the co-founder of e-commerce portal EasyBizChina. Peter has co-authored several publications about China, and he is a regular commentator in Danish media.
Thomas Trøst Hansen

Thomas Trøst Hansen is responsible for bridging Danish-Chinese experiences in a wide range of science fields. He helps to facilitate partnerships between academic institutions from the two countries, and he supports Danish companies with navigating China’s innovation system. Thomas has a PhD in Science Studies, and he has held various positions in Danish ministries and Denmark’s National Research Foundation.
